Leased Line Routing & Backup Services
Dedicated leased line connections between remote sites are very common. Traffic crossing these links is most commonly IP, but it can be one of many other protocols, including IPX, SNA or a mixture. Routing can be configured using static routes, or using a dynamic routing protocol such OSPF or BGP. ISDN is often used to backup a primary link, automatically connecting while the primary is down, and then dropping the line when the primary is back up.

We have years of experience in this field and can help you look after your links, or manage them for you. Having a backup in place is important; you will also want to know when it gets called into action, so we can also set up alerts and logging to inform you when the primary link fails and the backup takes over.
